Weekly Devlog : v0.7 incoming, Bugfixes, New GD elements


Hello all !

Development on ColorSpace keeps going strong. Let's go through the progress we have made this past week.

Objectives of the version v0.7 : 

  1. Incorporate Laser
  2. Create New Level
  3. Add UI in order to select the level we want to play
  4. Add various 3D props for Game Design purpose

Again for the background, we’re thinking a lot about having or not a background décor, since in itself the game is actually pretty and fits very well the mood. the 3D assets aren’t greatly visible so it is very hard to find anything that could fit actually the background game. 

What we will add in the v0.7 : 

We’ve worked on two other gameplay element that are the Laser and the Emitter, through, the emitter will be added in another version so stay tuned ! 

First of all we wanted to keep the same structure for all "shooting" elements around, such as the canon. So we’ve reused the base but created new meshes. 

This is the laser and it fits perfectly as it doesn’t have way too much details + has the same base as the handle. 

And this is the Emitter, looks like a satellite and we thought about adding more details in this one, since it has to be way different from the others, Have I told you to stay tuned ? 

The one person writing this doesn’t have all the elements in hand so we’re going to add more stuff during the week end !
